The Foundation
Since 2008, the actions of the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès have been guided by a single, unifying conviction: “Our gestures define us and show who we are”. In other words, by acting for the well-being of all, we grow and become better human beings.
The Foundation’s four core missions enact its commitment to targeted philanthropy and support through in-house programmes designed to transmit skills and expertise, create new works of art, protect the environment and encourage gestures of solidarity.

Woojung Hoh in Residency at the cristallerie Saint-Louis
Since 2010, the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès has invited artists to participate in residencies within the Maison’s workshops, offering them the opportunity to produce a new body of work that draws on the skills of the sites’ craftspeople. In 2026, Soyeon Ahn, curator of l'Atelier Hermès in Seoul, has been invited by the Foundation to oversee this creative programme. In turn, she has extended an invitation to Korean painter Woojung Hoh to undertake a residency at the cristallerie Saint-Louis.
